There has been a heavy production loss in SAIL ISP’s hot metal output since a month due to technical glitches in the plant’s blast furnace. About 3,000-3,500 t/day (equivalent to 1 lakh ton/month) hot metal production has been affected, credible sources reported to SteelMint. This has also impacted the output of other finished commodities. The output is expected to normalize by Jan’21, if the repair works of the furnace complete on time.
