Kobe Steel, Japan’s third-largest integrated steelmaker, forecasts to reach the capacity of 5.65 mn t in the year CY’20, which is higher by 250,000 t than the company’s previous forecast. The company produced 2.48 mn t crude steel, down 0.91 mn t y-o-y, in the first half of CY’20.
