Tata Metaliks has raised basic (steel) grade pig iron price by INR 1,100/t & foundry grade by INR 700/t ($10) for Nov’20 deliveries. The current offer by the company for low silicon (1-1.5%) pig iron is reported at around INR 31,300/t ($421) & foundry grade pig iron is at INR 33,200/t ($447), ex-plant, Kharagpur, eastern India. The company has a hot metal capacity of 500,000t p.a.
