The Indian steel giant, TATA Steel has announced an increase of INR 1,250/t ($17) in HRC and INR 1,750/t ($23) in CRC list prices for Nov deliveries. After the hike, effective list prices stand at INR 44,750/t (exy-Mumbai) for HRC and INR 53,750/t (exy-Mumbai) for CRC. Increased demand from the auto and white goods sector, coupled with tight supplies has resulted in price hike.
