India: NMDC (Chhattisgarh) iron ore rake movement up 10% in Oct’20

NMDC (Chhattisgarh) has supplied a total of 303 rakes (1.17 mn t) of iron ore in the month of Oct’20, up 10% m-o-m, according to railway movement data maintained with SteelMint. The movement from its Chhattisgarh mines to state-based steel units has moved up by 28% to 55 rakes (0.21 mn t). Movement for outside state based units was up by 4% and that for exports by 22%.
