Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) has increased rebar offers by around INR 1,500/t. Current offers for 12-32 mm rebar stands at INR 40,000/t (FoR- Mumbai) with effect from today, SteelMint learned from trade sources. Following the hike, other major mills are likely to increase prices in the same quantum. JSPL is one of the largest Indian steelmakers having produced 4.68 mn t of crude steel during Jan-Sept’20.
