Japan’s coal imports down by 8% y-o-y in Sep ’20

According to the trade statistics released by the Ministry of Finance, Japanese coal imports have dropped 8% y-o-y to 13.72 mn t in Sep ’20 against 14.86 mn t in Sep ’19. Imports from major supplier-Australia were recorded at 7.94 mn t, which occupied 58% of the total volume in the month.
