Ramgarh (Jharkhand) based Brahmaputra Metallics has further raised its billet price by INR 200/t to INR 31,500/t exw. About 800 t deals were reported yesterday at around INR 31,300/t exw, equivalent to INR 33,600/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh (Punjab), on an advance payment basis. The company is a premium (LC) grade billet producer with a capacity of over 150,000 t pa. The premium-grade billet demand in Indian domestic market is getting support from rising demand of patra followed by higher HR coil prices.
