Billet prices in Gujarat & Maharashtra touched 18 month-high, as per data maintained by SteelMint. Current 100 mm billet price is assessed at INR 32,800-33,000/t DAP Mumbai, INR 33,500- 33,700 FoR Ahmedabad. Supportive finished steel price movement from the beginning of the third quarter and adequate semi finish export orders resulted in the hike in price.
