Indian steel exports drop by 10% m-o-m in Sep’20

Indian steel exports stood at 1.58 mn t in Sep’20 against 1.8 mn t in Aug’20. Flat steel exports dropped by 37% to 0.68 mn t in Sep’20 on improved domestic demand. Indian HRC prices increased by upto INR 6,500/t ($90) since Aug’20. Billet exports up by 25% to 0.79 mn t in Sep’20 on orders booked in Jul and Aug.
