Domestic melting scrap prices for the second consecutive day, increased marginally by INR 100-200/t d-o-d in most of the major consuming markets. Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 24,100-24,300/t Jalna, INR 22,800-23,200/t Chennai (DAP). This price hike was due to the uptrend in prices of semi-finished and finished steel.
