Govt owned Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) conducted two auctions yesterday for a total of 7,850 t basic grade pig iron from its Rourkela and Bokaro plants. Auction from Rourkela for 2,150 t received weighted average bids at INR 27,300/t exw, stable against the last auction. Weighted average bids in Bokaro auction for 5,700t stood at around INR 26,900/t exw, higher by INR 200/t against last auction.
