India’s Vizag Steel has increased wire rod coil prices by INR 1,000/t w.e.f yesterday, trade sources reported to SteelMint. The current wire rod (SAE 1008) offer for 5.5 mm size is reported at INR 43,300/t, excluding GST, ex-Chennai. The company has also increased round’s price for grade 1018 by INR 500/t. Company’s crude steel output stood at 4.83 mn t in CY’19.
