The FoB price for Australian premium HCC fell further by $2/t to $118/t yesterday on lack of spot demand following the news of a possible import ban in China. Concerns have also emerged about potential oversupply because the Chinese ban will inevitably reduce demand and ex-Chinese demand may not suffice for absorbing the surplus.
