Indian govt owned steel maker – SAIL conducted an auction for 1,000 t OG (basic) grade pig iron on 15 Oct’20. The auction received good participation as the entire material was booked at around INR 27,050-27,125 /t exw Durgapur . In the last auction conducted on 29 Sep’20 for 1,000 t, only 100 t received bids at INR 27,500/t exw but the bids were not approved by the company’s management.
