Bellary (South India) based pellet manufacturers have increased the offers by INR 300-400/t today to around INR 8,100-8,300/t. The prices have picked up on tight material availability and maintenance shutdown taken by one of the major pellet makers from the region. As per SteelMint’s reliable sources around 20,000 t pellet deal done at INR 8,100-8,300/t (ex-plant) in the last two days.
