India: RINL’s Auction for Sale of Re-bar

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a state owned steel company located in Visakhapatnam, also known as Vizag Steel Plant (VSP), invites bid for sale of TMT Re-bar from its different stockyards in February.

Material will be available for sale on ‘As is Where is’ & ‘No Complaint’ basis.

There are four auctions which are scheduled on 13 Feb & 15 Feb, 2014.

Total Quantity: 1,995 MT (approx)

Auction 1

• TMT Re-bar: 400 MT, Grade: Fe 500D
• Location: Ahmedabad Stockyard
• Bid opening time: 11.00 hrs on 13 Feb, 2014
• Bid submission due date: Before 17.00 hrs on 12 Feb, 2014

Auction 2

• TMT Re-bar: 245 MT, Grade: Fe 415/500/500D
• Location: Ludhiana Stockyard
• Bid opening time: 13.00 hrs on 13 Feb, 2014
• Bid submission due date: Before 17.30 hrs on 12 Feb, 2014

Auction 3

• TMT Re-bar: 350 MT, Grade: Fe 500D
• Location: Ahmedabad Stockyard
• Bid opening time: 14.30 hrs on 13 Feb, 2014
• Bid submission due date: Before 17.00 hrs on 12 Feb, 2014

Auction 4

• TMT Re-bar: 1,000 MT, Grade: Fe 500D
• Location: Hyderabad Stockyard
• Bid opening time: 10.00 hrs on 15 Feb, 2014
• Bid submission due date: Before 15.00 hrs on 14 Feb, 2014

Loading will be done by RINL/VSP and it is free of cost.

Bidding prices shall be of basic rates including ED & ED Cess, but exclusive of all other taxes.

At present, RINL offers 8 mm TMT Re-bar at INR 46,000/MT (Ex Mumbai) and INR 46,500/MT (Ex Ludhiana) to its dealers. Prices are included with ED taxes extra.
