Iran: Iron ore concentrate output rise 4% during H1 of Iranian year

Iran’s iron ore concentrate output increased by 4% y-o-y to 24.6 mn t during H1 of current Iranian year (20 Mar’20-21 Sep’20). Also, the same registered a growth of 6% y-o-y in H1 CY’20. In Sep month, iron ore concentrate output was recorded 4.24 mn t compared to 4.01 mn t in Sep’9. Iran’s iron ore concentrate production capacity increased by 5 mn t to 62 mn t following the inauguration of the country’s biggest concentrate unit in Khorasan Razavi Province.
