Vedanta Resources, western India based pig iron producer has concluded auction for two rakes (equivalent to 4,350 t) foundry grade pig iron for northern India. The auction was concluded at around INR 30,300-400/t exw (equivalent to INR 33,700/t FoR Phillaur, Ludhiana). The company’s previous auction held on on 22 Sep for similar quantity received bids at INR 29,300/t exw.
