India: Minister’s meeting with AM/NS focuses on planned capacity addition

Union Minister for Steel Dharmendra Pradhan held a meeting with officials of steel major AM/NS India recently. The “future roadmap” of AM/NS India was discussed at the meeting, especially the company’s vision to contribute 30 mn t pa to India’s envisioned capacity of 300 mn t pa. The steel-maker’s proposed capacity ramp up to 12 mn t pa in Odisha will facilitate industrial growth in the state, Pradhan wrote.
