Chinese domestic billet prices rise further by RMB 30 ($4)

Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) opened with a rise of RMB 30, against last week’s closing. The billet transactions were moderate, and finished steel prices are trending upwards. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,400/t ($506/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
