Iran: KSC concludes 30,000 t billet export tender, slab under negotiation

Khouzestan steel company, Iran’s leading steel exporter, had floated an export tender for 60,000 t billets and slabs (30,000 t each). According to SteelMint sources, the company has concluded the billet export tender for a SE Asian destination at $410-415/t, FoB Iran. The slab tender is still under negotiation. The company remained the largest Iranian steel exporter in the first five months of Persian year at 0.6 mn t.
