ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India is reported to have imported around 95,000 t of iron ore for the first time from Ukraine, vessel-line up data maintained with SteelMint shows. The vessel named ‘Anglo Jessica’ is expected to arrive Paradip Port on 14th Oct’20. Also, tightening merchant supplies of iron ore have resulted in integrated steel major AM/NS India importing 138,202 t of pellets in Q2 FY21.
