As per its latest BSE filing, Tata Steel India has reduced exports to 24% of overall sales in Q2 FY21. Share of exports vis-a-vis total sales was 51% in Q1 FY21. The steel-maker ramped up domestic deliveries to 3.86 mn t in the Jul-Sept’20 quarter – an astonishing rise of 164% q-o-q. Tata Steel BSL too reduced exports by 31% out of quarterly sales of 1.28 mn t.
