India: Tata Steel BSL records highest quarterly deliveries in Q2 FY’21

Tata Steel BSL has informed that it has achieved the highest ever quarterly deliveries of 1.28 mn t in Q2 FY’21, a growth of 83% q-o-q and 23% y-o-y however, exports reduced to 31% of overall deliveries in 2Q FY’21. Crude steel output increased by 72% q-o-q and 7% y-o-y to 1.14 mn t. Also, the company informed that it has ramped up its steelmaking capacity utilization and downstream facilities back to per-COVID levels.
