India: SAIL RSP saleable steel output up 19.2% in Q2 FY’21

SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant achieved 865,103 t of saleable steel in the second quarter of FY’21, a growth of 19.2% over CPLY, the company tweeted. In addition to it, the plant recorded 922,713 t of crude steel output (up 16.1% y-o-y) and 967,700 t of hot metal output (increasing 17.6% y-o-y) in Q2. Production of HR coil and HR plates grew by 16.6% % and 14.2 %, respectively on y-o-y basis.
