In a circular received to all manufacturer based in Mandi, 72 hrs of power cut has been applied to furnace and 48 hrs to rolling Mill w.e.f. 25.06.13 on power regulatory measure. Detail of letter is below:

Subject: Power Regulatory Measures on industrial Consumers (Except essential & other Exempted categories) w.e.f. 25.06.2013
In view of the prolonged dry spell, it has been decided to impose the following Power Regulatory measures on Industrial Consumers (Except Essential & other Exempted categories as per circular PRC 06/2010) with effect from 25.06.2013 till further orders:-
1.Two Weekly off Day (48hrs) on General Industry (LS) Consumers and rolling mills consumers being fed from Cat-2 feeders. Timings of weekly off day for General industry will be from 0800 hrs to 0800 Hrs of Third day.
2. Three Weekly off Day (72HRS) on Arc/Induction furnaces consumers fed from Cat-2 and Cat-3 feeders. Timings will be from end of Peak Load
Restrictions hours of previous day (24.06.13) to end of Peak Load Restrictions hours of Third day (27.06.13).
Notes:
There is no restriction on the import of open access power by the consumers on their weekly off days.
All the LS industrial consumers can use only the restricted load (General & Rolliing mill consumers- 10 % of SCD or 50KW whichever is lower, Induction Furnace consumers- 2.5% of SCD or 50 KW whichever is higher ,Arc furnace consumers- 5% of the SCD only) during their Weekly off days.
Days of Weekly off day will remain unchanged as already intimated in circular No 02/2010
All the consumers shall observe their First or Second weekly off day as applicable wef 25.06.2013
