51,500 MT of friable and 10,500 MT of concentrate ore is on offer.

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) is conducting e-auction for Sale of 51,500 MTof friable Chrome ore and 10,500 MTof Concentrate Chrome ore of different grades today.

Out of the total 51,500 MT of friable ore 36,000 MT have been earmarked for the inside state buyers and 15,500 MT for the outsiders. Of the 36,000 MT earmarked for the inside state quota 8,400 MT are of the +54 grade (base price INR 12,333) and 9,800 MT are of the 52-54 grades (base price INR 11,876). Similarly, out of the 15,500 MT kept for the outsiders 3,600 MT are +54 grade (base price 12,333) and 4,200 MT are 52-54 grade (Base price INR 11,876/MT).

On the other hand, there are 10,500 MT of Concentrate Chrome ore on offer and out of this 3,500 MT are of the 38-40 grade, 5,000 MT 42-44 grade and 2,000 MT of 46-48 grade. The base price has been fixed at INR 7,903/MT, INR 8,694/MT and INR 9,484/MT respectively.
