Bangladesh bulk scrap imports rebounded in Sep’20 and stood at 0.15 mn t in Sep’20, as per SteelMint vessel line up data. The USA remained the largest supplier at 0.09 mn t on monthly basis followed by Japan at 0.05 mn t. Active restocking by steel mills for scrap in Aug’20 due to decline in inventories, boosted imports.
