Govt owned – SAIL increased rebar price by INR 500-700/t w.e.f today, sources reported to SteelMint. The current rebar offer for 12-32 mm size is assessed at INR 39,300-39,400/t, ex Mumbai, excluding GST. Prices may vary region wise based on quantity and payment terms. Supportive fundamental sentiments along with improved finish steel supply movement led to a price hike for Oct’20 deliveries.
