Ukraine: Zaporizhstal steel output decreases 4% y-o-y in Sep’20

Zaporizhstal registered 4% y-o-y fall in its crude steel production to 326,600 t in the month of Sep’20 as compared to 340,800 t in Sep’19. Its pig iron output recorded 386,800 t during Sep’20, up 3% y-o-y against 374,800 t over the same period last year. The company’s total crude steel output in the 9 months of CY’20 recorded 2.8 mn t. Zaporizhstal is Ukraine’s fourth largest steelmaker with a crude steel output of 4.5 mn t per annum.
