State-owned SAIL has achieved record iron ore production in Sept’20 of 1.939 mn t, a rise of 41.7% over the same period last year. This is the highest September production figure since the inception of the company’s mines. With mines in Jharkhand and Odisha clocking record production, monthly despatches stood at over 2 mn t, 33.1% higher than Sept’19.
