India: In a first, Northern Railways loads mill scale at Muradnagar for Vizag port

For the first time, the Delhi Division of Northern Railways has loaded mill scale iron from its Muradnagar (PHDL) to Vizag Seaport Pvt Ltd. (VSPV) Waltair Division on 24 Sept’20. The mill scale is being sourced by integrated steel producer AM/NS India for its pellet plant in Vizag, sources told SteelMint. The company has paced up mill scale sourcing owing to supply issues from PSU miner NMDC.
