India: Maruti Suzuki sales decline by over 36% y-o-y in H1 FY’21

India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki has registered sales of 469,729 units in H1 FY’21, declining 36.6% y-o-y due to the pandemic. However, total sales increased to 160,442 units in Sep’20, a growth of 30.8% over Sep’19 and 29% over Aug’20. Total sales in Sept’20 include domestic sales of 150,040 units, 2,568 units for other OEMs and 7,834 units exported.
