Indian sponge iron export offer drops by $15-20/t w-o-w

Sponge iron export offers slumped by $15-20/t, following a decline in domestic sponge prices by INR 1,000/t ($14) w-o-w, as per SteelMint’s weekly assessment. Current offers are hovering at $285/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $300/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh. As per exporters, no fresh deals have been reported despite a sharp fall in the price range.
