India’s largest iron ore miner- NMDC had scheduled an e-auction for 80,000 t iron ore from its Bailadila complex in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. The auction was scheduled on 29 Sep’20, which has now been postponed, as per sources report to SteelMint. Notably, iron ore production has been adversely impacted due to extreme weather conditions & increased COVID cases, due to which production has been curtailed to two-shifts instead of three.
