Domestic melting scrap prices in Mandi, northern India, fell by INR 400/t on d-o-d basis, while in the major consuming markets, the prices were almost stable. At some places in Gujarat, the same decreased marginally by INR 100/t. Prices may not see sharp decline in near-term due to tighter availability in western region market, sources reported to SteelMint.
