Raipur based major sponge manufacturers have reported no deals today. Reasons cited were competitive offers from outside suppliers & fall in local billet prices which fell by INR 250/t, d-o-d. The plants floated sponge P-DRI offers at INR 19,000-19,200/t exw, while suppliers from Raigarh, Bilaspur & Odisha concluded 1,500-2,000 t sponge deals at INR 18,800-900/t on FoR Raipur basis.
