Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) has resumed domestic pig iron offers. Current offers of steel grade stand at INR 27,200/t exw Raigarh. Offers from another mills and traders in Raigarh are assessed at INR 27,100-200/t exw. Pig iron prices in central & eastern regions remain under pressure and fell by INR 200-500/t, w-o-w due to limited demand as furnaces have curtailed production.
