India’s finished long steel (non-alloy) production recorded at 4.08 mn t in Aug’20, up by 10.5% m-o-m against 3.69 mn t in Jul’20. Improved construction activities stimulated by government funding projects, enhanced loan disbursement by a major lender and demand recovery resulted in rise in production.
