Iranian government increases billet supply at IME for this week

The Iranian government has asked steelmakers to raise the billet supply at the Iranian Mercantile Exchange (IME) on rerollers complaints about the insufficient supply, sources reported to SteelMint.The billet prices at the IME increased by IRR 2,482/kg (~$11/t), against 20 Sep’20. On 22 Sep’20, approximately 83,900 t billets traded at an average price of IRR 99,976/kg ($437/t).
