In a confirmed deal, 30,000 tonnes of Australian coal (5500 NAR) has been booked at $52 CFR India (east coast) by a cement manufacturer for October shipment. Amid the lackluster export demand that has resulted in price fall of Australian coal, it has become an attractive option over South African material, especially for Indian cement sector.
