Bokaro (Jharkhand) based Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL) has resumed wire rod production after a maintenance shutdown of 25 days, sources reported SteelMint. The shutdown was taken up since the last week of Aug’20. They are having healthy orders in hand and resumption may lower the tight availability of wire rod in eastern India, as per sources. ESL has an annual installed capacity of 0.70 mn t rebar & about 0.50 mn t wire rod.
