SAIL conducted an auction for around 8,550 t (3 rakes) mixed off-grade pig iron yesterday from its Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), Jharkhand. The auction received limited participation as only one rake (2,850 t) was booked at INR 27,500/t exw. Prior to this, the last auction for 2,850 t conducted on 9 Sep’20 received no bids.
