China’s rebar output recorded a marginal increase of 0.89% m-o-m to 24.13 mn t in Aug as against 23.92 mn t in the previous month. Meanwhile, pig iron output registered 78.55 mn t in Aug, up 0.47% m-o-m as against 78.18 mn t in Jul’20, as per the data by the National Bureau of Statistics, China. Country’s crude steel output hit record hike backed by robust demand.
