Indian steel grade Pig iron market seems stable.
Raipur keeps its offers unchanged and followed its previous prices of INR 26,000/MT (basic) depicting stable demand in market.
Raigarh manufacturers offer Steel grade at INR 25,400-25,500/MT (basic) with a slight rise of INR 100/MT in offers.
Giridih Steel grade manufacturers drop the prices to be offered to INR 24,400/MT (basic) fall by INR 800/MT. Here, prices steadily rose to INR 25,200/MT in couple of weeks owing to good demand.
“We have corrected our offers to INR 24,400/MT as market seems a little sluggish again, after a quick rise in demand”, said a Giridih manufacturer.
Pig iron market in Durgapur is hovering at INR 24,600-24800/MT . Manufacturers are even selling at INR 24,500/MT for bulk purchases.
Bokaro manufacturers said, “Our offers are at INR 24,000/MT but currently we are not accepting the bookings.”
Here, price has raised by INR 500/MT to INR 24,000/MT (basic).
