Brazil slab exports up over 20% m-o-m in Aug’20

Brazil exported 662,189 t slabs in the month of Aug’20, up 20.8% m-o-m as against 548,105 t in Jul’20, as per SteelMint statistics. Slab exports during Jan-Aug’20 recorded 1.6% y-o-y increase at 4.87 mn t. US remained the largest importer followed by China and Indonesia.
