SAIL conducted an auction for 2,800 t off-grade (basic) pig iron today from its IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) West Bengal. The auction witnessed decline in bids as entire material got booked at INR 28,050/t exw. The last auction was concluded at around INR 28,600/t.
