Australia: Port Hedland’s iron ore export up marginally in Aug’20

Australia’s Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of around 46.6 mn t in the month of Aug of which 46 mn t was iron ore exports, as per the figures reported by Pilbara Ports Authority (PPA). The exports have inched up by 1% y-o-y. The Pilbara Port Authority has three main ports – Port Ashburton, Port of Dampier and Port of Port Hedland, and has delivered a total monthly throughput of around 60.5 mn t in Aug’20.
