Odisha’s Essel Mining hikes iron ore price upto INR 500 ($7)

Aditya Birla Group owned – Essel Mining has increased iron ore fines and lump list price by INR 300/t and INR 500/t as supplies tighten in Odisha, SteelMint learned from its sources. Current offers from its Koira mines are at INR 2,325/t for Fe 60% fines. Iron ore lump (5-18 mm, Fe 62%) offers are at around INR 5,600/t . All offers are on an ex-mines basis and include statutory payments for royalty, DMF & NMET.
